Jazwike, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Roman Jazwike, 4027 Mis-

son of Mr. C. E. Wilkie, Sr. of
4441 Oleander Street, was among
the 278 .students who graduated
from Georgia Stale College at
commencement exercises held
Sunday, May 27, in the Atlanta
Municipal Auditorium. Mr. Wil-
kie received the degree of Bache-
lor of .Science.

The Rev. Daniel Cooper per-
formed the double ring cere-
mony against a background of
candle trees and bouquets of
white gladiolas and stock.
Given in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride wore a formal
gown of diamond white pure
silk organza over taffeta fashion-
ed in the heirloom tradition.
Delicate pearl and crystal en-
crusted re-embroidered Alencon
lace scalloped the oval neck-
lined. short-sleeved fitted bod-
ice. Motifs of the encrusted lace
were scrolled about the bodice
and extended down into t'he front
MRS. MARION V. FILIPPONE
The former Miss Judy Jazwike,
of the dome-shaped skirt to form
a circle effect. The skirt swept
to elaborate side and back full-
ness accented by sprays of the
embellished lace and cascaded to
a Cathedral length train. Her
veil of imported pure silk illu-
sion flourished from a tiny crown
encrusted with pearls and crys-
tals.
She carried a cascade bouquet
of orchids and gardenias.
Maid of honor was Miss Paul-
ine Filippone. Bridesmaids were
Misses Mary Jo and Rosalie Fil-
ippone and Miss Jennie Marie
Sedita.
The attendants were gowned
alike in all white pure silk or-
ganza over taffeta and wore
white silk nose hats with small
veils.
Best man was John M. Filip-
pone Jr. Groomsmen were James
J. Braniff III, Bill Scoggins and
Neil Boll.
Ushers were Bill Kelly. Frank
Gusemano, Max Worley, Vincent
Lucia, Mike Montalbano and
Mike Alderman.
After the ceremony a reception
was held in the Memorial Drive
Country Club. Members of the
houseparty included Misses Pat
Danna, Patsy Amason, Donna
Amason, Mrs. Anita Atkins and
Mrs. Lena Land.
After a wedding trip the couple
will live at 4302 Betty.
The bride attended the Uni-
versity of Texas where she was
a member of Gamma Phi Beta,
The groom attended 'Butane and
is a graduate of the University
of Houston. His fraternities are
Sigma Chi social fraternity and
Psi Chi and Alpha Epsilon Delta,
honorary fraternities.
