Interest In Piano
Contest Now
Warming Up
On account of a delayed shipment
of pianos, the Wilder Music Co
will not be able to get our contest
piano to us this week as we ex-
pected, but will have it here next
week, and we are makiug our ar-
rangements to start the contest
by Saturday, March 20lh, and if
nothing else hinders we w ill make
the announcement definite next
week. 1 he interest is warming
up very rapidly, quite a number
of giris already having notified
us fhat they will be in the contest
and everybody else asking about
it. Indications now show that
this contest will be the
Livest Thing: That’s Happening:
In Carbon This Spring.
We want a large number of girls
in the contest, and the larger the
number the better chance each
will have, as no one would have
to get so many votes before the
territory would be covered.
Some girl is going to get the
piano without giving but little
time to rustling, probably only
spending Saturday afternoons
during the two or three months
that the contest will last. Every
girl who wants a piano should
at once write us, call to see us,
or call us over the phone and let
us explain the plan of the contest
*
Do this now and get an even
start with the other girls. If you
don t you will wish you had,
when you see the other girls are
getting along so well. We have
already made arrangements for
the following premiums to be
used in this contest:
A Beautiful Upright Piano, and
An Unlimited Scholarship in the
Business Department of
Abilene Business College.
Arrangments are being made for
other premiums which will be an-
nounced next week. All the
premiums will be put on exhibi-
tion before the contcit itarta.
