A Crooked Path ?
Olten « co'A'path hns been allowed to become a village
stree* .«rx! as the village expanded, tradition has made the
winding way an expression of a cow s will.
Ha u i alw.n forging chains to enslave its. so that what
has been found bearable by the fathers is accepted by the sons.
Who cennot ret all the coftec-pot Mother put on the stove
early in the morning warning us not to let it boil over?
As Chi'dren we were not permitted to drink tea or coffee
because i would stunt our growth or make us nervous and
irritable When older, however, we craved a hot drink with
meal- and custom gave us our tea or coffee.
Finally upon the instructions of the doctor,
fc‘ ,. r gave up liti tt*a and ctffee. But that
u.»ant nothing in our young lives. Our vitality
s then strong enough to throw off any il! effects
But our time came, and we learned by experi-
h t t t»i we could not dnnk tea or coffee When
we f. 1 it for breakfast it put our nerves on edge.
When w-e drank it at the evening meal, we tossed
about m wakefulness most of the night.
And then we found Postuni, a pure cereal
bevpi age fret from the harmful drug, caffeine, in tea
and coffee. We liked tiie rich, satisfying flavor of
P urn—rind also the better health which resulted.
And, too we were surprised to find how many of
< i i bur; had made the same discovery—had
K arr d thi value of “health first.”
