recently discharged from the Army
at Camp Chaffee, Ark., has been
In Shamrock with his wife, Mrs.
Mildred Haysley, and daughter,
Weezy.
Sgt. Haysley was Inducted at
Louisville, Ky., In August, 1043, and
took his training at Camp Gru-
ber, Okla,, with the 42nd (Rain-
bow) Division, later being trans-
ferred to the 82nd (All American)
Airborne Division when he reach-
ed England In June, 1944.
Jimmie was awarded the Nether-
lands Orange Lanyard for the in-

the Armored Mechanical Division,
and Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.

his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L.
Foshee, Lee D. Foshee, S.M. 3-c Is
now stationed at Green Springs,
Florida.

Lonnie Bland, son of Mr. and
Mrs. T. D. Bland of this city, has
re-enlisted with the U. S. Army
for a period of three years. He is
with the Infantry and stationed at
Fort Benning, Georgia.

Arrow) Infantry Division.
His unit, the 120th Field Artil-
lery Battalion, is stationed in the
city of Oita.
Sgt. Hail's father, William Hall,
Uvea In Bowie. He has a daugh-
ter, Patricia, four, and a son, two.
A farmer in civilian life, Sgt. Hail
entered the Army In April, 1944,
and came overseas last December,
Joining the division In Leyte.
The 32nd, a part of 5eneral Wal-
ter Krueger’s 6th Army, is com-
manded by Brigadier Genera) Rob-

overseas, and notified his parents
that he was in Port Lawton, Wash.,
Monday. He expects to be sent to
El Paso to receive his discharge.

T. V. Wade, Radarman 2-c, who
recently received his discharge, ar-
rived In Shamrock this week to
visit his sister, Mrs. I. L. Walraven
and family.
He was with the Coast Guard
for three and one-half years. He
received his discharge at Tacoma,
Wash. Mrs. T. V. Wade and son
Terry, are here with him.
J. J. Jakium, who served with
the Artillery In the Pacific Area,
since July, has received his dis-
charge after about four and one-
half years of service. He and his
wife were guests in the home of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. C.
Milam the past week. They left
yesterday for New York, where
they plan to make their home.

and Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Tapp at-
tended the Trinity University din-
ner In Amarillo Monday.
i funeral of Mrs. J. W. Files, who
I died at Bryson, Texas Tuesday and
was burled there Thursday. Mrs.
I Bryson died of a heart attack at
! the age" of 76. She was an aunt
1 of Mrs. Winters and Mr. Nichols.
