Club will have an educational ex-
hibit of canned fruits for a family
of four, on display at Twitty, be-
ginning Saturday July 21.
The display will Include fruits
canned by the water bath, and
the water bath method will be dem-
onstrated.
The public is invited to attend
the exhibit.
Mrs. Gaston Harbour of Amar-
illo is here this week visiting with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. F.
Kersh. Mr. Harbour and daughter,
Charlotte Kay, are visiting his par-
ents at Nocona, Texas, where Mrs,
Harbour will join them soon.
Earl Kromer of Houston, was a
! Shamrock visitor over the week-
end.

Miss Ruthie DuBose has returned
from a trip to Atlanta, Ga., and
Langdale, Ala., where she visited
her roommate, Miss Eloise Leh-
mann. Miss Lehmann returned with
her to Shamrock and is a house
guest in the DuBose home.

Mrs. A. B. Crump of Wheeler, and
her guest, Miss Pettis Ladd of Dal-
lase, were Shamrock visitors last
week.
The Victory Home Demonstration
Club met at the home of Mrs.
John O'Gorman Friday afternoon.
Mrs. V. J. Zeman, County Home
Demonstration Agent, gave a dem-
onstration on the making of cheese,
emphasizing that bne could not be
too careful or clean with milk.
Plans were made for an ice cream
supper for the members and their
families at the home of Mrs. Elmo
Riley, July 24.
Refreshments were served to Mrs.
L&e Lackey, a guest, and to these
members: Mmes. Elmo Riley, Hen-
ry Wegner, Hester Dodson, Gus
Wegner, George Braxton, Thomas
Todd, Forrest Carver, V. J. Zeman,
and the hostess.
The next meeting will be in the
liome of Mrs. Elmo Riley July 27,
and the demonstration will be
given by the Twitty 4-H Club girls.
