WE’RE SORRY,
BUT
No More Free Ambulance Service
Everybody Considers
Her a

Dresser
For a long time, the undertaking establishments in Shamrock
have been giving free ambulance service. As both of us have advertised
this rather extensively, it is only fair now to make this statement con-
cerning the discontinuance of this service, and give the reasons.
Tires, Gas and Help...
And''yet she has much
less to spend on clothes
many of her
than
There are several reasons for this joint economy move. Primarily,
of course, is the reason that we feel that it is patriotic to save the tires
on our ambulances as much as possible. Then, too, with gas rationing
beginning now, we are compelled to use gas as sparingly as possible. The
problem of securing help has also become acute, as every person in
business or on the farm well knows.
friends.
Fine Clothes
Mean a Lot
—and equally as much
the kind of clothes
you wear is the care you
take of them.
Pretty clothes deserve
good care. Preserve their
color and avoid shrinking
and uneven hems by
sending them to the Su-
perior Cleaners.
We’d rather be able to serve you with an ambulance with tires
over a longer period of time than to use our tires up in a hurry and later
have nothing to offer but an old-fashioned team-drawn hearse.
The funeral homes of Shamrock are modern, well equipped, and
giXe service comparable to the best found anywhere. We appreciate the
confidence that the public has displayed in our efforts to provide for you
and give what comfort we can when death visits your home, and take
this opportunity jointly to thank you for your patronage.
