Advice Is Given—
(Continued from Page One)
County Tax Collectors are exper-
iencing difficulty in obtaining
temporary help, and you will be
helping them and yourselves by ob-
taining 1946 license plates in the
first part of March and not wait-
ing until the last day or days.
There are some persons operating
motor vehicles with Out-of-State
license plates who may legally op-
erate under 1946 Out-of-State li-
cense plates, and these persons are
cautioned to obtain such 1946
plates and apply same on or before
the expiration of their present
plates. There are others operating
motor vehicles with Out-of-State
license plates who must legally re-
gister in Texas, and these persons
are advised to purchase Texas
plates immediately to avoid having
to pay a penalty in addition to the
registration fee.
