Roy Hubert Todd. 71, a McLean
farmer and rancher and father of
j Mrs. W. A. Bentley of the Dozier
I Community, died at 3:30 o'clock
Monday morning in Veterans Hos-
pital at Amarillo.
Funeral services were held at 3
o'clock Tuesday afternoon in tire
First Methodist Church in Claren-
don with the Rev. W. R. Lawrence,
pastor of the First Baptist Church
of that city, officiating, assisted by
the Rev. H. B. Patterson, pastor of
the First Methodist Church.

Mr. Todd was born May 23, 1892.
to Sunset, and had been a resident
of McLean for three years. He was
a World War I veteran and a mem-
ber of the McLean American Legion
post.
Survivors include: his wife. Annie;
four daughters, Mrs. Elmer Vines of
Brice, Mrs. Claud Moore of Tulla,
Mrs. W. A, Bentley of Dozier, and
Mrs. Arlie D. Bentley of McLean; a
step-daughter, Mrs. J. Isaac of
I Anadarko, Okla.; two sons, Leroy of
Amarillo, and Thomas of McLean; a
step-son, Melvin Baker of McLean;
his father, George Todd of Graham.
Also surviving are: four sisters,
Mrs. Floy Roberts of Wellman, Mrs.
B. A. Ziegler of Weatherford, Mrs.
Johnny Martin of Tatum. N. M-. and
Mrs. Eunice Mobley of New York;
three brothers, George of Tulia.
Dallas of Graham, and Jack of
Tatum, N. M.; and 17 grandchildren.
Attending the funeral from Sham-
rock were: Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Todd, Mrs. Biyee Clay and Mrs.
Chester Payne.
