Christmas Greetings to all the
staff of The Texan and the many
friends we have in Shamrock. I
hope this will be a joyous Christmas
for all of you who work at The Tex-
an and also for all the people of the
Shamrock area.
I enjoy getting The Texan and
reading about, the people and hap-
penings in Shamrock. Thanks to
Mr & Mr Hal Vaughan for send-
ing It to me.
I especially enjoyed last weeks
paper, which told about the honor
paid Mrs. D. F. Spruill by her Sun-
day School Class of 50 years ago.
I know It must, have been a great
time for her and also for those who
could be there. Mrs. Spruill is a
great person from a fine family. I
knew bet people back In Mississippi.
I aiso'enjoyet! reading about the
young people coming home from
coUege for Thanksgiving. I claim
many of them as my boys and girls
as they were just boys and girls
when I was there as pastor. I am
happy to know they are going to
coUege.
Give my love and best wishes to
everyone for a Merry Christmas and
a Prosperous New Year.
