Mrs. Maud Byrd were in Brown-
wood the previous weekend for
the Byrd family reunion.
Miss Molly Grisham, who
teaches in Dimmitt, was home
the previous weekend for East-
er. Capt. Joe Havis and family
of El Paso and his parents, the
Autry Havis’ of Dublin were
guests the previous Saturday of
the Willis Grishams. Mr. and
Mrs. Grisham had Easter lunch-
eon with her sisters, Mrs. Paul
Davis and Mrs. W. H. Guy in
Stephcnville-
Mr. find Mrs. P. E. Keith
spent Thursday with Mr. and
Mrs. Loy Robinson and Lola of
Victor where they helped the
Robersons fix their windmill.
Funeral services were held
Monday for Wiley Cook, broth-
er-in-law of Rupert Blankenship,
at the First Baptist Church in
De Leon. Several residents of
this community attended. Deep-
East er Sunday, where her sis-
ter-in-law, Mrs. E r n e s t Bays
and children of Amarillo, were
also visiting. Sorry to report
little baby Wanda, Tiriimy and
Dtfn have been ill this week and
we hope they are soon well.
Mike Reeves and a girl friend
from Mesquite visited Mr. and
Mrs- Inin Reeves Easter Sun-
day afternoon.
Mrs. R. E. House and Mrs.
Irvin Reeves were in Stephen-
ville Tuesday where they visit-
ed Mrs. Myrtle Bays. Enroute
home they visited in Dublin with
Mrs. Nancy Corbell in the Dog-
gett Rest Home. " " 'l
Easter Sunday afternoon, Mr.
and Mrs: Johnnie- Wilson and
Judy and Mrs. Arthur Harrison
visited Mr. and Mrs. Wayne
Wilhelm and family in Coman-
che. The Johnnie Wilsons also
visited the Autry Merrills.
Charles Wayne Armstrong and
Dennie Armstrong were in Ste-
phenville at Tarleton State Col-
lege as members of the Lingle-
ville High School F F A. Dairy
Judging team which was in con-
test in the Tri-district or area
judging held Saturday. The Lir-
gleville team placed first and
Charles "won second in the in-
dividual scoring. Congratula-
tions to the team and Charles
for a job well done.
The Wayne Armstrongs visited
the John Maxwells of Dublin

Jerry Blankenship and family
of Big Spring spent several
days recently with his parents,
the Rupert Blankenships. Mrs.
Adeal Cook of De Leon visited
her brother, Rupert, and his
wife Tuesday night- Rupert’s
brother, R. Q. Blankenship of
Dallas visited him Monday. Oth-
er visitors were Mrs. Jim Thom-
as of Dublin and her daughter,
Mrs. Arnette of San Antonio.
