The question now is who will be our
uext state senator.
Let us haye a summer encampment
by all means. Let a place be selected
near the center of the county wheie
there is plenty of water, shade, etc.,
and then let everybody and bis wilo
and children come in their wagon pre-
pared to stay three or lour days and
haye one grand old social reunion.
Good speakers can be had to entertain
the people. Stamp Ashby, M. W.
Wilkins, or some other noted man can
be induced to ffime and everybody
will go away feeling that It waa good
to be there. Every candidate in the
county ought to be in favor of it. Why
not bring the matter up at tbs con-
vention on the 11th of June? All in
favor of it say “I." and let them be
there to vote for it. d. L. R.
