The bride approached the al-
tar on the arm of her father,

length wedding gown of slipper
satin, topped with a lace bodice,
with her long sleeves coming
to a point at the wrists. The
lace applique decorating the
hemline of her wedding gown
was outlined with seed pearls-

lined in seed pearls. She carried
a bouquet of calla lillies center-
ed with miniature white mums
and entwined with fern and
white streamers.
Judith Robbins, a high school
classmate of the bride, was
maid of honor, wearing a mint
green brocade satin floor length
gown, ih the same, cut, as the
bride’s wedding gown. Her head-
piece was of matching material,
covered with pink tulle and
and green rosettes. The maid of
honor carried a bouquet of min-
iature white mums.
Dale West, a former class-
mate of the groom, was best
man. Bill and Jack Cathey,
brothers of the groom, were
ushers. The bride’s sister, Car-
mela King, was flower girl,
wearing a dress of pink satin
brocade overlaid with silk or-
ganza. She carried a flower
basket made of lace and filled
with miniature mums.
Cecil Qlyn Weems of Garland,
a cousin of the bride, was the
ringbearer. Candlelighters were
Russell and Royce Patterson,
sons of Mr. and Mrs. Glyn
Weems of Stephenviile.
A reception followed immedi-
ately after the wedding, held in
Mr. and Mrs. Earl B, Moore
had as* “ their guests . over the
weekend, both their daugh-
ters and their families, Mr. and
Mrs. H. Dean Marcum and Mi-
chael from Beaumont, and Mr.
and Mrs. J. Wayland Whitfield,
Stephen and Rebecca from Ok-
lahoma City in Oklahoma.

Stella is the granddaughter of
Mr. and Mrs. John W. King of
Proctor, and of Vincent Taglia-
lavore of Elizabeth, New Jer-
sey, who was unable to attend
the wedding because of ill health.

Jackie Jordan, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Carl A. Jordan, became
the bride of William LaMonte Ford of Ardmore, Oklahoma, in a
candlelight ceremony at the First Methodist Oiurch with the
Rev. T. F. Collier officiating. After a wedding trip to Kentucky,
the couple will be at home in Dallas, where the bridegroom is a
student at Baylor University College of Dentistry- He is a gradu-
ate of Baylor University In Waco, and the bride Is a graduate of
Baylor University School of Medicine Technology in Dallas.

more, and David and Paul Jor-
dan, brothers of the bride, of
Dublin- Ushers were Burton and
Raymond Seibert of Dallas.
David and Paul Jordan were
candlelighters.
Hie bride chose a suit of aqua
linen with matching hat for her
traveling costume. After a wed-
ding trip to Kentucky the couple
will be at home in Dallas, where
the bridegroom is now a student
in the Baylor University College
of Dentistry.
The bride attended Baylor
University in Waco and is a
graduate of the Baylor Universi-
ty School of Medical Technolo-
gy in Dailks. The bridegroom is
a , graduate of Baylor University
at Waco.

mony at the First Methodist
Church in Dublin June 6. The
double-ring ceremony was of-
ficiated by Rev. T. F. Collier1,
pastor of the First Baptist
Church.

flanked by candelabra set with
white tapers in a background of
fern trees. The chancel rail was
draped in white and decorated
with greenery and votive lights-

Mrs. Guy Jones, organist,
played the wedding music, and
accompanied Mrs. Joe Temple-
ton, soloist.
