Christmas day with them and
remained over night. When she
returned home Thursday, her
granddaughters, Linda and
Judy, came, with her to spend
the remainder of the week.
Christmas evening callers of the
Bays were his sister and family,
the Wayne Keiths.
Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Blanken-
ship and Olan had Christmas
day dinner at home for their
son, Wayne and family of Wich-
ita Falls, a daughter and fami-
ly, the Tim Georges of Fort
Worth, and another daughter
and family , the O. D. Davis’ of
Comyn. They are expecting
their other two daughters. Mrs.
I/iuise Knight and son, Robbie,
, and Mrs. Janie Lucas and two
daughters, all from El Paso On
Friday their sons. Bill of Sny-
der, and Jerry of Big Spring-
were here recently and won't re-
turn until after New Years.
Glad to report Rupert is feeling
much better.
Mrs. Maud Byrd returned
home Monday after having vis-
ited her daughter and husband,
the Frank Runkles in Post for
sometime. The Sunday before
she left she was made very
happy by her grandchildren
coming in for a family get-to-
gether. Mrs. Byrd and her
grandson and wife, the B ill
Evans’, had Christmas eve sup-
per in Dublin with her daugh-
ter and family,'the J. C. Guests
and all their children and fam-
ilies. Mrs Bynd and the Eva-s
returned to the Guests Christ-
mas day for more feasting.
We had a Christmhs day tur-
key dinner at our home with
my husband's brother and wife,
the Cecil Chaneys of Bunyan.
In the afternoon we drove over
the new road which is an ex-
ternum of our road to Victor.
*nere is still much to be done
to finish it as the bad weather
has delayed it. The -bridge is

finished but will be grand when

The Loy Carmichaels spent a
quiet day at home Christmas
day as BUI had a virus. We
tope she is soon well.
The W. C. Cagles and Fustons
had a Christmas eve supper in
Dublin with her relatives and on
Christmas day they had various
relatives visiting them.
The J. H. Fair family, had
their Christmas day dinner in
Dublin with his parents, the Pat
Fairs. Last Sunday they had a
pre-Christmas dinner in Euless
at Betty’s sister and husband,
‘he W. H. Gothards.
The Orval Fair family also
were In "Dublin at his parents,
the Pat Fairs for Christmas
day dinner. Connie Mack, their
son, who is home for the holi-
days from Sam Houston College
in HuntsvUle, brought his girl
friend. Miss Gloria Ratliff of
Stephenville, to the Christmas
di n ri e r. Their daughter, La
Juan, is also home for the holi-
days having come in Friday
with Miss Molly Grisham. La
Juan attends Wayiand College
in PI a in view and is a member
of the “B" basketball team. The
Fair famUy spent Christmas eve
at home and her mother, Mrs.
Julia Thiebaud, joined them for
the exchanging of gifts. Mrs.
Fair and La Juan were with
Mrs. Thiebaud in Stephenville on
business' Thursday.
Mrs. Otha Fulberg. had Christ-
mas dinner for- her daughter
and family, the Bill Keiths, a
son, Dave and family of Step-
henville, and another daughter
and family, the Norman Drueck-
hammers of Copperas Cove, and
her nephew and wife, the Jim
Lakes of Comanche
Mr. and Mrs. Willis Grisham
had supper Christmas eve and-
dinner Christmas day with her
sisters, Mrs. Paul Davis, and
Mrs. Bernice Guy of Stephen-
vi’lc. Mrs. Grisham remained
ivernigbt with her sisters* but
Willis returned home. They are
•’xpecting their son. Bill and
fa m ily of Amarillo sometime
late Thursday night:
Miss Molly Grisham is home
for the holidays from her teach-
ing position in Dimmitt. She and
her si s t e r, Eula, had their
Christmas day dinner with their
s ster and husband, the Autrey
H-iv s’ in Dublin. They all had
heir Christmas gift exchanging
it Molly and Eula’s Christmas
eve.
Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Harrison
had their Christmas day dinner
in Dublin with her sisters and
Vother, the Armstrong family.
Her sister and husband, the
Emmett Rippetoes of Comanche
were also there.

on Thursday for her parents, tip
G. C, Perrys, her brother and
wife, the Eulon Perrys, and her
aunt and uncle, the A. D. Bry-
ans, all from Gorman. Carol,
the Jones’ son is home from
Tarleton for the holidays.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones
had Christmas day dinner in
their home for their spn, Mar-
vin and family, their daughter-
in-law, Mrs. Edgar Jones and
her daughter, Mrs. Bobby Har-
ris and baby daughter. Suzann,
from Stephenville, Clarence’s
mother, Mrs. M. 0. Jones from.
Stephenville, another Jones
daughter and family, the D. F.
"Pairs of Victor, and the Jones’
grandchildren, Kathy, and Ken-
neth Morris of Waco. The chil-
dren arrived by bus Tuesday
and will remain the rest of the
week. Their parents were unable
to be here due to the illness of
Chaplain Morris’ father.
Mrs. Henry Jones had her
Christmas dinner on Sunday for
Aer children and all but one of
her grandchildren. Those who
were there were her daughter
and husband, the B. p. Blantons
and Don of Com vn, their
daughter and husband, the Doc
Tuckers of Roch; their son and
family, the Malcojn Blantons
and two girls of ftoch,. Mrs.
Jones other daughter and fam-
ily, the J. T. Hicks and their
son, Kenneth and family, all
from Lingleville. Mis. Jones
spent Christmas day with her
daughter and family, the Blan-
tons in Comyn. Mr. and Mrs.
Emil Thiebaud of <|)dessa spent
Thursday night with Mrs Jones
who is her sister. On Friday
they visited other relatives in
the community. Mrs, Jones ac-
companied Mr. and iMrs. B. 0

wife, Friday afternoon to visit
his mother, Mrs. M. 0. Jones ir

their Christmas tree and gifts
in their home Christmas eve for
their son, S. E. and family, ^ an-

and their daughter and family
the G. W. Fishers of Dallas.
They also had Cristmas driner
for all of them.

ilies on Christmas eve with his
parents, and on Christmas day

gan Mill with their brother and
family, the David Fishers. The
G. W. Fishers returned to Dal-
las Thursday from Morgan Mill.
