“We have a good EHenburger well," said Joe F. Belt, oil
operator, Thursday at 1:00 o’clock. j
Activity started with a bang at the Robert Crouch No.
1 oil well Tuesday when rigging arrived for the testing of
this well. Thursday noon the well had been shot ajt 3845
feet and had been acidized once. Plans are to shoot the well
again a little above the first shooting and to acidize Friday
mpming
“Weil know more about what we have Friday or Sat-
urday,” said Mr. Belt.
Reports are that there are some 60 feet of saturated
Ellenburgrr rock in the well. The tubing is already in the
hole and results are looked forward to anxiously. Others
interested in this well "guess" that it will be about a 100 bar-
rell producer after it is brought in. This is only a guess as
no one knows just how big the production will be at this time.
The Crouch No. 1 is located on the Robert Crouch
ranch only 1** miles southwest of Dublin on the Daniel
Bradley Two-Thirds league Survey. Two offaeta are
already being planned.

The oil test on the R C. Christian farm near Clairette
is now down past 4100 feet as this was the report on Tues-
day of thia week. If they hit production it is expected to be
some time next week, reports Theo Wilkinson of the oil firm
doing the drilling.
