party at the Highland Communi-
ty Center Thursday night,
March 16 at 7:30 Everyone is
invited to attend.
Mr and Mrs Royce Thie-
baud and family of Proctor
spent Thursday night with his
mother, Mrs. Julia Thiebaud.
The Good Neighbor Club will
meet at the Highland Center on
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock
with Mrs Edyth Chancy and
Mrs. Beulah Jacks as hostesses
Mrs Janie Lucas and girls
visited Friday with her par
ents. Mr and Mrs. Rupert
Blankenship, and (Man. In the
afternoon Mrs Blankenship and
the group visited Mrs St e 1 la
Newton, who isn’t well.

were in Fort Worth Wednesday
to see my brother-in law, Clay
ton May He is home from the

mother, Mrs Sally Smallwood
has been transferred from the
Stephenville hospital to the Dub
lin hospital. She is doing pretty
good.

ris and Bradley of San Angelo
visited her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Onie Keith, over t h e

Ray Keith and Thomas Ray
joined them for Sunday dinner

the funeral services Saturday
afternoon in De Leon for Ike
Brumbelow. Bill Keith and
daughter, Janie, Mrs Thurston
House and Homer Hafford ren-
dered the songs for the serv
ice.
A good crowd attended the
program and film at the com
munity center Saturday night
The film "Follow the Bambho”
was sponsored by the Taylor
Evans Seed Co. and brought by
Don Stringer of the Waco
branch and Bernay Sheffield
of the Grand Prarie Branch
and co - sponsored by Mr, and
Mrs. Charley Ben Bradberry of
Dublin. Bark «Mathis and my-
self won door prizes.
Ruby Ix*e Keith, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Keith,
was hostess to 13 girls Friday
night for a slumber party.
Needless to say there wasn't
much slumber for any of them.
Chips, dips and cold drinks
were served as refreshments.
Pearl, Mrs. Wayne Keith,
was back to see her doctor Sat-
urday afternoon and is doing
much better.
Rev. and Mrs. J. D. Martin
of Fort Worth were Sunday din-
ner guests in the home of Mr.
and Mrs S. E. Keith and fam-
ily. ,
Little Teressa Keith, daugh-
ter of Mr and Mrs. S. E.
Keith, missed school Tuesday
due to an earache She suffer-
ed all Monday night with it.
W C Keith, son of Mr and
Mrs S E, Keith, student at
A.4M University, was home for
a weekend with his family.
Mr and Mrs S E. Keith
carried their son, Frank to the
Child Study Center in Fort
Worth Wednesday to see a doc-
tor.
Mr and Mrs. Willard Thie-
baud and son, Stephen, of Ver-
non spent the weekend, with
hi$ mother and brother, Lem
and Wayne Thiebaud and fam-
ily.
Wayne Thiebaud attended
the County School Board
meeting in Stephenville Mon-
day.
Mr and Mrs. Wayne Thie-
baud and Bobby Traweek at-
tended the Farmers Union in
Stephenville Monday night.
Mrs Lem Thiebaud left by
train Monday night to visit her
daughter, Louise Pendergrass,
and family in Lubbock. Louise
has been ill with the flu.
Robert Keith, Richard Thie-
baud 7knd Frank Keith attend-
ed a party at the Parish House
in Dublin Friday night.
Mrs. Jean Thiebaud carried
her mother. Nell Weems, and
Mr and Mrs J B. Whitehead
to Comanche Tuesday to visit
their sister, Mrs lizie Ragan,
a patient in the hospital there.
Mrs. Fannie Southall and
daughter, Christine and hus-
band, Pete, of Freona and
Gene Southall of Amarillo vis-
ited Saturday night with their
sister-in-law and aunt, Mr and
Mrs. Rupert Blankenship, and
Olan. They were here for the
funeral of Ike Brumbelow
Mr. and Mrs. Porter Blan-
kenship of Goree and Mrs. Far-
ris Davis and daughter from
Stamford visited Sunday with
their sister, Mr. and Mrs. Wes
Newton. Mr. and Mrs. Rupert
Blankenship joined them for a
visit Sunday afternoon.
