Meet Monday
The largest manhunt ever held in this ares lasted foe
approximately 40 hours and was climaxed Wednesday
morning by the capture-surrender of two youths, Wil-
liam H. Stephenson, 16, and Tommy Gene Jacobs, 16,
both of Houston, by Texas Ranger J. P. Lynch, Mineral
Wells, and H. G. Sheaffer of Alexander. The youth*
were taken approximately four miles from Dublin in the
Cottonwood Community, just off Highway Six.
Armed robbery charges will be filed in Hamilton
County against the Houston boys, according to Texas
Ranger George Roach of Stephenville. It was also stated
Wednesday by officials that the pair will face action in
the Erath County Juvenile Court. Houston officers have
requested a session to question the youths about a rob-
bery-slaying last Monday in Houston.
