LAST WEEKEND TO TOUR PARADE OF HOMES®
PRESENTED BY SWIFFER® WETJET™ IN DESOTO
SHOW HOME FURNITURE & ACCESSORIES ONE-DAY-ONLY SALE
SLATED FOR MONDAY SEPTEMBER 10TH
There are only four days left to tour the 2001 Parade of Homes® presented by Swiffer® WetJet™ and the Home Builders Association of Greater
Dallas within the prestigious community of The Estates of Windmill Hill in DeSoto. Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of North Texas and
HomeAid Dallas, the Parade showcases extraordinary show homes from five of the Best Southwest area’s finest custom builders priced from
$650,000 to over $900,000. Each home is professionally furnished and decorated and will be open for touring from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm through
Sunday, September 9th.
This year’s event themed “Spotlight on Design, D6cor and Dreams,” is the perfect venue to introduce home buyers to the latest in new home and
interior design, technological innovations, environmental developments and lifestyle features. The featured Parade show home builders are Barclay
Custom Homes, Inc., Harrison Homes Custom Builders, Lakeway Homes, Inc., Royal Homes By Robert Thomas Construction, Inc. and Signate
Custom Homes, Inc. Helping to make dreams come true for some very special children, each builder has created a “wish room” themed around a
particular child’s wish, including trips to the Super Bowl, New York, skiing in Colorado, to computer and camera wishes.
On Monday, September 10 beginning at 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, participating Parade builders, designers, furniture and accessories companies will
host a one-day-only-sale. Tickets for this day, and this day only, are $5.00. No discount tickets permitted. Details are available at the individual show
homes, and all sales must be coordinated by an authorized representative. The Estates of Windmill Hill has been the ideal setting for this year s
event, as it is a secluded gated residential community offering estate-size wooded home sites for homes priced from $400,000 to $1 million*. A
beautifully-appointed stone privacy wall and historic windmill serve as a beacon that landmarks this exclusive address in the heart of DeSoto and the
Best Southwest area of Dallas.
Wildwood Development Company I, Ltd., the developer of the Estates of Windmill Hill, has been one of the premier developers of
environmentally-sensitive neighborhoods in the Desoto and Best Southwest area of Dallas.
Through Sunday, September 9th, Parade tickets are $1().(X) for adults, $5.00 for children. Discount tickets are available at all Tom Thumb stores.
This year’s presenting partner is Swiffer® WetJet™ and major new home event partners include The Trane Company, DuPont® Tyvek®
HomeWrap®, State Farm Insurance and Texas Electric Choice. Promotional partners include Powell Chevrolet/Oldsmobile, Mid-America Mortgage
Southwest, Inc., Tom Thumb, The Dallas Morning News and Today Newspapers.
The Estates of Windmill Hill is easy to get to from all areas of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. From Downtown Dallas, travel south on 1-35 and
then south on Hwy. 67. Take the Main Street exit and turn left (east) at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter. Main Street becomes Duncanville Road, and the
community is located on the south ^ide between Wintergreen and Pleasant Run Roads.
