The Military Department
is most often asked about
among visitors on the
campus, for uniforms are
everywhere, with corpor-
als, sergeants, and officers
outstanding because of
their insignia.
Nucleus of the Military
Department is the Armory
(top right) which houses
over seven hundred rifles
used three times weekly at
drill by the cadets. Worst
chore of all is shown, that
of keeping the seven hun-
dred rifles clean.
The College Dining Hall
is a spacious building in
the heart of the campus.
From six to seven hundred
students eat here daily.
The spotless kitchen is a
marvel of efficiency, feed-
ing the many students
who eat at the Dining Hall
in an incredibly short
time.
