FOOTBALL 1941
John Tarleton Plowboys, coached by Earl Rudder, began the season with
a victory and ended the season with the most important victory of all. The
Plowboys completely dominated their home field as they defeated the Har-
din-Simmons Fish by a large score. Of course, that last victory was the one
over our traditional foes, N. T. A. C. The final score was 13-7 in favor of the
determined Plowboys. Although Tarleton only placed third in the Confer-
ence, it was a highly successful year for Coach Rudder and the entire team.
Top Row: Alexander, Borders, Roach Keener, Rusk, Hamil, Matthews, Lockhart, Belitz.
