for Munday, where we learn he will
enter the real estate business with
our old time friend, Alex Glasgow.

the foundation of the new brick build-
ing, had the misfortune to have one
finger mashed off to the second joint

The thermometer has climbed above
the 100 mark every day for the last
ten duys and what gardens were
planted after the rains are now about
burned up. Cotton is doing fine, but
most of the corn on the up-lands Is
needing rain badly und will be cut
very short without rain in a few days.

a pioneer settler of this county and

burled under the Masonic lodge cere-
monies. of which order he had been
