Electricity
for a week’s washing
costs less than a Bar of Soap
jp53
Imagine doing the week’s
^ washing for the price of a
bar of soap. No wash-
woman will do it so cheaply.
No housewife can afford to do it
herself when electricity washes the
clothes for a nickel a week.
Washing clothes for a nickel a week
is just one of many things electricity
does cheaply in your home. Elec-
tricity runs the vatuum cleaner an
hour or gives two hours’ breeze
from a fan for a penny. Another
penny’s worth of electricity plays
the radio an hour, or gives you two
hours’ comfort from a heating pad
ELECTRICITY IS THE CHEAPEST
THING YOU BUY
or three hours' use of the curling
iron.
The comfort and convenience of all
these electrical servants cost the
average family only ten cents a day.
That is the average electric bill of
all of our residential customers.
Usually this is the smallest item in
the monthly household expenses.
Electricity costs less than the av-
erage family spends for candy, cig-
arettes, or soft drinks.
Let electricity do all the work in
your home. Electricity does the
housework more easily, more quickly
and for less money than you can
■do it by hand.
