from an accident Thursday morning
when his car hit a telepraph pole.
As Mr. Head warded off the too
friendly advances of a dog the car
swerved. Cowden Henry who was
in the car was cut on the face and
neck with glass from the broken
wind shield, but not seriously.
Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Randlett and
Miss Elnora were called to Dallas
last Friday by the death of Mrs
Randlett s nephew, Mr. John Book-
hout, Jr, which occurred in Fort
Worth. The Lancaster Undertakers
took the body to Dallas and the
funeral was held at the home of
Mrs. Bookhout. Sr., Saturday. Mr.
Randlett and family attended the
