a rehearing before that tribunal In the
murder case of Robert and Charlie
Jones, which was recently affirmed
in the court session at Dallas,

been on the criminal records in Erath
county for many years, it will lye re-
called that Robert and Charlie Jones
shot and killed their father, Rev. lx*e

lin in the early morning hours of

Dublin and surrendsred to the offi

J. R. Sones and Mr. Carr, both of
the Buny&n community were the vic-
tims of a runaway accident last Mon-
day In which Mr. Sones sustained a
broken leg and Mr, Carr was badly
bruised about the face. The two had
left the home of Mr. Sones to ko to
the Nelson place, a mile away after a
load of wood. The weather was very
oool and the team, a spirited one,
wanted to speed. A little rein was
given that they might warm up and
In this way they shortly got such
advantage that they were untnanag-
able and ran away. In front of the
J. R. Bishop home the team ran into
a tree In the roadway, one horse going
on either side. The impact of the
wagon against the tn»e threw both
men out. The right limb of Mr. Sones
was broken between the knee and
*\jikle and lie was otherwise bruised
Mr. Carr was bruised severely about
the face and received slight internal
Injuries. Both are reported as now
getting on as well as might be after
such serious results.

farm, five miles south of Dublin, was

Mr Hughes had been to Dublin

ed a lantern to feed his horses. While
in the loft of the barn securing hn\

fought the flames valiantly for some

til he was forced to retire and per-
