Nutrition Studied
At H. D. Meeting
Every homemaker should study
I nutrition, Miss Grand.staff told
the women of Seminole Home
; Demonstration Club when they
I met at the home of Mrs. E. L.
Allison on March 15
By use of charts and pictures
she showed the well developed
child with clear skin, glossy hair,
bright ayes and a happy smile,
the result of eating the right
foods.
She then showed the pale un-
developed child who has been
d prljved of that happy child-
hood by the lack of the balanced
diet necessary to promote health
and happiness.
By using the Texas food Stan-
dard, nutritional balance may be
maintained. Use variety and ar-
range food attractively for serv-
ing. As a demonstration Miss
Grindstaff prepared and served
three salads, using a cooked salad
dressing.
