ized Monday evening, suffering
from a broken arm. This accident
happened while Ross was at
school playing on some kind of
a swing.
Teepee Queen
Candidate Named
By Sophomores
Elaine Jordan has been named
the official candidate of the
Sophomore class for Queen of
the Teepee, official Annual of
the Seminole high school.
Candidates are selected as can-
didates for personality, popular-
ity and beauty.
The annual contest is held in
Seminole high school for the pur-
pose of raising funds to help
defray the expense of printing
the school annual. Votes are giv-
en each candidate to the amounts
of money turned in by the indi-
vidual classes.
The present Sophomores, as
Freshmen last year, won the
1947 elections.

Mrs. George Starritt of Wichi
ta Falls is a visitor in the home
of her sister, Mrs. Vivian Wil-
son.
Mrs. Willie Capps Bagley left
Monday for Del Rio wwhere she
was called by the death of her
brother, Jess Sutherlin.
