Drmajfe Expected From Cjickets
All over Texas there are more
crickets than usual, is the report
from R. R Reppert, Entomulo
gists of A. & M. In places they
ruin dresses in one night in clbs
ets unprotected by moth balls
or something else.
Crickets are fond of sweetened
vinegar and similar liquids. One
good authority states that deep
glass vessels, half filled wi-h
such liquid will trap and drown
lurge numbers.

Federa ion on April 13. The counties in white have organized Farm Bureaus. The coun-
ties in gray are where preliminary worn has been done and the black portion is whore no
nrgination work had been done. On June 1 there wore 110 organized Farm Bureaus in
Texas. Less than a year ago there was not an organized county in Texas. Tlte Farm

Boost Your Booster!
Every one loves a booster, but every one is
not always ready to boost for his booster.
The booster is supposed to boost because he
likes to do it—and in a great measure that is so.
The greatest booster in history, however—
the home town paper—must combine with the
natural liking for the boosting game, the re-
wards the simplest rules of business requires
for the continuance of the boosting spirit.
The editor of your home town paper likes to
be appreciated just as you like to be appre-
ciated.
And how better may your appreciation be ex-
pressed than by the amount of money that goes
through his cash register?
Every one in this town and community will
have an opportunity to show appreciatioh for
the home town paper during the week of No-
vember 7-12, which will be observed in every
state in the Union as
