The students write, produce and
take the parts In four fast-moving
musicals in the class stunts. The
event has become an unofficial
TWU homecoming, with hundreds
of ex-students, parents and guests
front throughout the Southwest in
the audience.
As many as 400 TWU students
will participate in some phase of
the IS minute skits in which each
class competes against the other
three for a Silver loving cup.
Sunday will be "Parents Day"
on the campus. Students will honor
parents in a chapel service and
will conduct informal to u r s

To Be in Houston
Mrs. Winnie Grloe. president of
the Pelham Chapter United Daugh-
ters of Confederacy, has an-
nounced that the district meeting
will be held in Houston Feb. 28.
This announcement was made at
a regular monthly meeting held
in the home of Lillian Mitchell
with Cassia Landry as co-hostess.
Following the business session,
Mra. Landry presented a book re-
view entitled, "Chaplain in Gray”
by Charles F. Pitta, which is a
Rory of the chaplains during the
war between tha states, depicting
their hardships, trials and re-
wards.
The hostesses served coffee and
cake to those named and to Mrs.
C. M. Tilley. Mrs. Lillian Toups,
Msry Gilmer and Mrs. Alex Lott.
The next meeting is scheduled
for March 17 at 7: JO p.m. in the
home of Mrs. Lott, 1101 N. 9th St.
