Mr. and Mrs. Martin Lee of
Tampa,'Fla. were visitors of Lee's

ies who will ride on horseback
in the parade ih Lake Charles on

es civic clubs and from 28 sur-

SCHOOL TO CLOSE
Graduation exercises will be
held for the North Orange Bap-
tist church Friday evening at 7
o'clock. A demonstration of the
work' done in the different de-
partments will be a part of the
program and everyone is invited
to attend.
During the two weeks the school
was in session over five hundred
boys and girls were enrolled in
its classes.

OUTING PLANNED
Mrs. Fred Williams and Mrs. A.
Holberg will be hostesses to the
Manila club at a weiner roast
Friday a roadside park on the
Beaumont highway. The memb-
ers are to meet at Navy Recrea-
tional hall, 6th and Knox, to ar-
range for transportation.
Last Friday evening the
club met at O’Neal’s fish camp on
the Sabine river for a fish fry.

St. Mary’s Altar society met
Thursday afternoon, at the home
of Mrs. Gilbert Breaux, 1714

ers present cut out and stamped
a quilt they are making this sum-
mer. It will be given away in a
