Mrs. Walter McClaugherty of
Yancey was able to return home the
first of the week after spending sev-
eral days at Medina Hospital for
medical treatment. She entered on

from Castroville Monday on business.
He was bubbling over with enthusi-
asm about the oil prospects for Me-
dina County and informed us that
he had leased his property for oil

Mr. Fritz Belschner, local manager
for the United Gas Corporation, left
Tuesday for Houston to attend a
meeting of gas company employees.
He was accompanied as far as Seguin
by Mrs. Belschner who remained
there for several days’ visit with rel-
atives. They plan to return today.
