Miss Rose Anne Blankenbaker
became the bride of Thomas An-
drew Radack, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Edmund Andrew Radack, 5110
Grape, in a double ring ceremony
Feb. 1 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church,
Mission, Tex.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. James Morton Blank-
enbaker of Mission.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a gown of ivory
silk organzine satin. Crystals and
pearls formed the high open throat
and extended to the slightly raised
waist. Soft deep pleats of the skirt
formed a chapel train.
Maid of honor was Miss Ellen
Blankenbaker, sister of the bride.
Another sister, Miss Sharon Blank-
enbaker, and JoAnne Curry of
Victoria were bridesmaids. The
attendants wore identical gowns of
gold Italian chiffon accented with
bright pink sashes.
Steven Radack, brother of the
groom was best man. David Roos
and Charles Radack of Houston
were groomsmen. Gerald Ray Ra-
dack, brother of the groom was ring
bearer.
After a wedding trip to Monter-
rey, Mexico, the couple will live
in Austin where Mr. Racack is a
senior at the University of Houston.
He is affiliated with Delta Kappa
String Festival
Department of music at the Uni-
versity of Houston will present a
three-day Festival ofStringsinthe
UH University Center, Feb. 7-9.
The festival will provide high
school juniors and seniors, high
school graduates and junior coUege
and university students an oppor-
tunity to study for two days under
master teachers. Two concerts will
be presented during the festival,
with A. Clyde Roller, professor of
music, conducting.
The University of Houton Sym-
phony Orchestra will be presented
in concert Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. in the
University Center Houton Room.
The Festival String Symphony
concert will close the festival at
3 p.m. Feb. 9 in the University
Center Houston Room.
The concerts are open to the
public at no admission charge.

of Texas graduate and a member
of Delta Zeta Sorority.
MISS BARBARA ANN JOHNSON
will marry Ronald Carl Grossmann
in late summer her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Russell C. Johnson, 4762
Redstart, have announced. Mr.
Grossmann is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. J.C. Grossmann, of 1419
Thornton. Both of the engaged
couple have attended Texas Tech.
He is now a student there.
