Biggs awarded ACC credits
Wayne Lee Biggs, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald W. Bi-
ggs, 4509 Elm, was among
199 students at Abiline Chri-
stian College who were aw-
arded at least three hours
of college credit by exami-
nation for the 1973-74 scho-
ol year.
Wayne received the most
hours of credit given to a
single student this year. He
received eight hours of gen-
eral chemistry, four hours
of credit in general math,
and three hours of credit in
English. Wayne received his
23 credits prior to regis-
tration, which occurred on
September 3. A 1973 grad-
uate of high school, he is a
freshman chemistry major.
ACC awards advanced
credit by examination in
three national-level pro-
grams, the English essay
examination, and the mus-
ic theory placement test. A
total of 931 hours of ad-
vanced credit was awarded
to ACC students this year.
