of Education on Sept. 13,1971, the
following information is made
available so that you might ob-
serve the ruling.
"Policy statement regarding
motor vehicles on school cam-
puses: The operation or propel-
ling of any type motor vehicle
upon the various properties of the
Houston Independent School Dis-
trict by any person at any hour of
the day or night is hereby strict-
ly prohibitied, and any violation
of these restrictions shall be sub-
ject to fines and other penalties
provided for in the statues of the
City and States; except, however,
that this rule of restriction shall
not apply to use by students,
teachers, administrators, and
patrons in the pursuit of official
school business.’’

ed partly of showing a most in-
formative film entitled “Young
iMan on the Go.’’ Past Master
Councilor Scot McClellan and
Dad Walt Puckett then present-
ed a skit going into detail on the
historical background of Jacques
DeMolay, for whom the order was
named, and the actual forming of
Si. Agnes-Strake
the "Get-Aquainted’’ party held
in the banquet room of Holland
Lodge last Tuesday evening was

Coaching the St. Agnes Tennis
team this year is Miss Sheri
Tesch, physical education in-
structor for SAA. They played
their first tournament of the sea-
son at Conroe, Monday, Oct. 9,
after class. Mary Gilbride won
the first place in the singles.
Polly Meslre and Julie Thayer
teamed up as adoubles and won
first place. Janice Hughes and Joi
Sperando took third in the dou-
bles. The next challenge will be
when they play Sterling next Mon-
day.
Basketball intramurals were
played by the freshman, sopho-
more, junior and senior classes
starting with preliminaries. In
the final game, the juniors vic-
toriously defeated the sopho-
mores 23-12.
College Day was held over at
Jesuit, Oct. 10. Twenty-five Cath-
olic colleges sent representa-
tives to talk with juniors and sen-
iors from neighborhood schools
such as St. Agnes, St Pius, Ma-
rian, Sharpstown, etc. The after-
noon was divided up so students
could attend lectures given by
different schools and see films
or slides. Many big important
decisions will be made soon!
Crusaders played the Rough-
neck the week of Oct. 2 losing
42-7. They scored a touchdown
when Randy Arbuckle recover-
ed a punt across the goal line
that was blocked on the kick.
Next week Big Green piays Port
Lavaca at home.
