missing juvenile. The 13
year old was located later
the same day. Another like
report was made on Feb-
ruary 15th. Again the 13
year old was located that

On February 14th police
were called to a Bellaire
residence, where a mother
and her son were causing a
distrubance in the front of
their hoim1. Bellale Police
were called and they assisted
in settling the argument.

a Bellaire manand wife were
invovled in a fight with
each other that resulted in
the husband being arrested
for assult. He was placed
in the county jail on a $400
bond.
On Feb, 11th, 2 white
males threw a brick through
the window of a residence
at 5811 Newcastle. They
were not apprehended.
During the night on Feb-
ruary 14th, a home at 1216
Howard Lnae was broken in-
to. Burglars stole an AM
FM transister radio.
Between December 28th
and February 14th, someone
stole a Motrola 2 way radio
and other items fro m 4817
Cedar.
Jeffrey Aronoff, 20 was
arrested at the Bellaire Po-
lice Department for disor-
derly conduct and on a traf-
fic warrant.
Bellaire High School was
the scene of an auto theft
on February 15th. The auto-
mobile was located the same
day. Investigation pending.
The burglary of a Bel-
laire business was reported
February 15th. Carpets by
Ray at 4811 Bissonnet re-
ported $3 In change was taken

Evans Bowen of Sharpstown
and Rusty Berry of West-
bury.
Peaceman, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Donald Peaceman,
is a member of the Inter-
act Club, Mu Alpha Theta
National Honor Society, and
the Mth Club. Mikeska is
the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Elba M„ Mikeska and Is
a member of the American
Field Service, the Science
Club, the Ecology Club, the
National Honor Society and
Mu Alpha Theta. Dr.
and Mrs. T.E. Douthit, Jr.
are the parents of the West-
bury scholar. Douthit is a
member of the Key Club,
the Math National Honor So-
ciety and Is president of the
National Honor Society.
RIc Bowne played foot-
ball and was named All-City
at his position of center.
He also played end and was
captain of the team. He Is
the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Francis Evans Bowen and is
also a member of the Fellow-
ship of Christian Athletes
and the Cement Volleyball
Association. Berry is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. J.R,
berry and was captain of
the football team for which
he played end. He also
plays left field for the base-
ball team.
Bellaire Hospital
boasts 12 teams
The most tablked a-
bout subject around Bellaire
Hospital is the bowling lea-
gue and the various teams.
An attempt was made to get
a League going on various
occasions in the past, but
never got off the ground.
Then, through the efforts
of Barbara Kelley of Data
Processing and Oswald Mc-
Keon of the Maintenance De-
partment, a league was
formed and now contains 12
teams.
They are sanctioned with
the A.B.C. and the W.I.B.C.
and bowl at the Brunswick
Sharpstown Lanes on Tues-
day nights. Officers are:
Oswald McKeon, President;
Barbara Kelley, Recording
Secretary and Treasurer;
Jimmy Orr, Vice-President.
Serving on the Prize Com-
mittee are: Sue Stone,
Brenda Jackson and Nancy
Cruden.
