DEGREE
The many friends of Clarence
J. Seidenberger will be happy to
know that he is a candidate for a
Master of Education Degree from
the University of Texas and will
receive this degree on August 27.
It will be remembered that Clar-
ence in the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Ferd. Seidenberger of this city,
and is a graduate of the local
high school. For the past two
years has been high school prin-
cipal and football coach at Troy,
Texas, where he and his wife and
two children have been residing.

HAVE BABY GIRL
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Tumis of
Houston announce the arrival of
a baby daughter, born August 1.
She weighed eight pounds, ten
ounces and is the couples' first
child. This is the first grandchild
for Mrs. Joe Anders of Schulen-
burg and the seventh for Mr. and
Mrs. Willie Tumis of Ammanns-
ville.
KANA'S HAVE SON
Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Kana of
Ammannsville are the proud pa-
rents of a baby boy, Larry Gene,
who arrived August 4th at the
Youen's Hospital in Weimar. He
weighed nine pounds, and four
ounces. Proud grandparents nre
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Treybig of
La Grange, and Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Kana, Sr., of Ammanns-
ville.
GIRL FOR SRUBARS
Mr. and Mrs. Lad» Srubar of |
Ammannsville are happy over the
arrival of a seven-pound, nitie
ounce baby girl, born to them on
August 7th. She has been named
Donna Gail and is being welcomed
by two brothers.

RAMBLERS NIP BLUEBIRDS
The Ammannsville Ramblers
defeated the Plum Bluebirds Sun-
day by a score of 8 to 4. Jmy
Adamcik started for the Ramblers
but was relieved in the third by
Jerry Muras, who pitched a very
fine game. Johnny Kana started
for Plum and was relieved by Sru-
bar in the seventh.
