5 birds, all of the same sex.
Calves must be on feed at least
120 days. They may be run on
Wheat pasture ahead of the feed-
ing period.
All feeder pigs must weigh 180
pounds.
Feeders pigs may be either sex.
Broilers must weigh 2V2 pounds.
All exhibits must have been car-
ried as a project in Vocational
Agriculture class and a complete
set of records kept on the project.
Feeder pigs must have been
owned and fed by exhibitor at
least 90 days before the show.
Breeding hogs must have been
owned at least 30 days before the
show.
There must be at least two en^
tries in a class before money will
be paid on the placings.
There will not be a public sale
of the animals. If anyone wishes
to purchase any animal, he may
do so by purchasing the animal
from the exhibitor in a private
sale. The animals will not be auct-
ioned off.
The show is set up and opper-
ated bythe boys taking Vocational
Agriculture. Donald Booth, advisor
of the White Deer Chapter says
that this is part of the boys act-
ivities during the year.
The boys gain valuable exper-
ience by setting up their show
and operating it themselves. Such
events help the training of the
boys in leadership, cooperation and
give invaluable aid in practicle
