SUNDAY GAZETTEER.
How is This.
Julio* A. Caapary the new drug-
gist came to our city only about •ev-
en months ago an entircjstranger and
opened up the finest drug store in
north Texas. Mr. Caapary ia a young
man but is entirely op with the times
so far as busines is concerned. His
trade has been daily increasing ever
since he opened and he is now enjoy-
ing as good a trade as anf druggist
in north Texas; his stock is large; be
carries only the best goods; pure
fresh drugs; his store is always ar-
ranged with good taste; his show
cases are well filled with a full line
of all kinds of, Toilet preparations.
He keeps the finest line of Bulk Ex-
tracts and perfumes in the city and
now he has on display the finest line
ot holiday goods ever seen in the
Denison markets. The secret of
Mr. Caspary'■ success is, he sells
goods at prices which make people
buy them and this being a dull year
and he seeing the necessity of sell-
ing goods low. In order to do thdi1
business he has marked^ his entire
stock ot Christmas goods down at
rock bottom prices and is now offer-
ing Christmas presents cheaper than
any body. We admire Mr. Caspa
rye pluck and enterprise and are al-
ways glad to welcome business men
of his type to our growing city.
Now, we will say in justice to your-
self, when you need anything in the
drug line or in the line of fancy
goods, toilet articles, perfumery,
paints, oils, etc., be sure and give
Mr. Caspary a trial before ■ buying
elsewhere, as we are sure you will
be pleased both with his goods and
prices. ~ _
Last Monday John Montelin, for-

ment a verdict of not guilty was

An eccentric old gentleman living
near Longview, let his hair and beard
grow until it reached his waist. A
lew days ago be was ginning his last
bale of cotton, when his beard be-
came entangled in the gin saw, pull-

. Oh, yes, he is very* anxious to
know “who in the name erf heaven’
has been elected. He lives out in a
thinly settled district of the west
where news are scarce. # Well, we
don’t know who, if anybody, has
been elected “in the name of heav-
en”—Blaine thinks that parson
Burchard and the deyil elected Cleve-
land. St. John ran on the heaven
ticket and was beaten more effectu- -
ally than a restaurant man usually
beats his ox-neck steak which he in-
variably calls “venison tender-loin.’’
But Caspary will sell holiday goods
at give-away prices. His toilet sets
are just what the young man should
give to his best girl as a Christmas
present., ‘The married man should a
buy one for his wife. They would
be useful in a family, as the beauti-
ful Celluloid half* brushes are the
verv.things to paddle cross children
with. Caspary has everything that
is nice. Don’t fail to call and ex-
amine his stock before purchasing
