MILAM OIL NEWS
The I). II. Byrd No. 2M. Blak-
elyely wildcat in the east part
of Milam County, was testing on
acidized perforations Tuesday,
swabbing load and acid water,
with a weak gas show. Perfor-
ations are at 7,285-:il0, 7,330-41,
7,347-52 and 7,358-64 feet with
two jets per foot. This interval
first was perforated with four
jets a foot, and on two and one-
half hour drillstem test recovery
was 1,820 feet of gas cut, muddy,
brackish water. The holes then
were squeezed repeiforated and
treated with 500 gallons of mud
acid and 1,000 gallons of regular
acid.
