It will be by large odds the largest, best, most thor-
ough and most reliable edition ever issued in the
Southwest. Many writers of ability and prominence
—leaders in the industrial, financial, commercial,
government and professional circles—will contrib-
ute special articles on these various lines of activity.
These contributions will embrace thorough re-
views of the progress already made, the present
conditions and the prospects for the future in the
various branches of trade, industry, government,
railroad and financial activity.
The issue will be all that the name implies. Sit-
uated on the border between two friendly and pros-
perous republics, and anxious to serve the best in-
terests of both, THE TIMES will present this mag-
nificent edition in February, confident it will give an
impetus to commerce and industry, and serve the
excellent purpose of laying before the world the resources and capabilities of
the Southwestern section and the Great Mexican Republic.
The Advertising Display
which will be set in new up to-date types, will in itself prove a most attractive
and valuable compendium of the enterprise and growth of the cities and towns
in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and the Republic of Mexico. The paper to
preserve and place in the hands of the people of the two republics will be
THE. TIMES’
International Edition.
