Fargo and company to operate Its

ments of fuel are decreasing to some
extent, and according to officials of
the road the congestion will be en-
tirely relieved by fall.
Following Its policy of obtaining
everyt hing possible to improve Us ser-
vice as well as to simplify It. the Mex-
ican Central has Installed the teU-
graphex. an invention which makes it
possible to use two separate and dis-
tinct currents over the same telegraph
wire. The dtvice is owned hy the
Abbott Electrical company of Cleve-
land, Ohio, and at present is being
used only by the Mexirtm Central and
the Big Four railroads.
Preparations for the kermesse to
be held in Saltillo this month are be-
inglug made by tht ladies in charge
of the affair. The proceeds of the en-
tertainment will go to the orphan asy-
lum of that city, which is under the
protectorate of the San Juan church
and ilm Jesuit priests. The exact
date has not been definitely decided
upon, but I will be soon after the
Easter holidays. The Alameda will
probably be the place where the en-
tertainment will be held.

fraud. The supreme court's decision
Is a sweeping one, sustaining every
contention of tlie city and removing
the last possible obstacle in the way
of the erection of a municipal water
plant.
