onstration tract yesterday with the
preparing of engineered tree sites
on the Kelly Gray farm about
three miles southwest of West-
w-iiy. Officials hois- to hit n full
stride in this work when complete
equipment arrives. It will be the
policy of the officials to do tin-
work in the order the contracts
were signed. O. T. Williams an-
nounced.
A meeting was held at Weatway
last Thursday night for the pur-
lM**e of organising Wind Krosioit
Control association. The purpose
of this organisation is to pro-
mote the soil conservation pro-
gram. The following officers were
elected: Pink II. Gilliland, presi-
dent ; G. C. Hartman, vice presi-
dent ; Is-e Morgan, secretary.
Mr. Wllliums stated that enough
acreage had Is-en signed up a
grent isirtlon of the 25,uu> acres
to ap|s-ar certain that the dem-
