We never shot down while there is
live and energetic Abe Williams, one
of - MW prosperous And suc-
cessful clothiers m tne Capitol city.
He has placed on his counters the
most complete line of high art cloth-
ing ever shown in our city, We be-
speak for him unbounded success iu
his new field. Call and inspect his
elegant line. Courteous and polite
salesmen are at all times ready and

What We Have Seen and Heard.
We see a large number of nice, new
residences going up iu town.
We see a larger number of wretch-
ed old sidewalks going to pieces m
town.
We saw people turning away from
the doors of one of the best churches
in the city last Sunday night, because
they could not get seats therein.
We see the rosy-cheeked school
children twice a day.
We see the Santa Fe making some
improvements near the shops, in the
shape of a new tank. ,_M.
We see new scenery in the opera
house, a long needed improvement.
We see cows acting as if the side-
walks belonged to them. Well, never
mind, larger cities than Temple are
still enduring the wild, unlettered
milch cows.
Wo heard people swearing at the
Sunday law.
We have heard diverse opinions
concerning the Belton fair in the last
few days. Public opinion seems
about as two sided on this particular
subject as the Sun was last week. ^
We heard a young banx othclal
“counting the days” last Sunday.
