Chairman and Board of Directors,
Lutheran Concordia College,
Austin, Texas.
Gentlemen:
We h've a client who owns property directly across the
street from Concordia College, on Concordia Avenue, who is very
anxious to build two homes.
We have learned that you furnish homes for your faculty,
and we would like very much to have you consider renting or leasing
these two homes, which can be ready for occupancy by September 1
or the opening of the school term this Fall. Our client does no
wish to go ahead with the building of these houses without some
assurance that they will be rented.
As you know, the building of these two homes would enhance
the value of property in that neighborhood and, naturally, would
attro ct home builders to that addition.
Any consideration given our offer will be greatly
appreciated, and we shall be glad to call on the board while in
session, or any one of you personally, at a time most suited to
your convenience.
We shall be glad to plan these houses s desired by
those whom you expect to occupy them, or as the board wishes them.
Our office will be located in the new Norwood Building
when it opens. Until that time, you may reach us at the above
address, or by dialing 23508 or 4814.
Very sincerely yours,
L. F. McIntosh, Manager.
