Dear Brother Osthorf:
Your's of December 2nd has arrived. I am sorry
I am not in a position to forward the disbursement
voucher immediately. I must ask you for some inrorma-
tion before I can proceed with it and anyhow I much
prefer to have the Board itself decide this matter.
Things on which I want more explanation are these:
Will those "three others" pay for their music
lessons themselves or do you intend to let them have
their music lessons free? VUe have never agreed to an
arrangement of this latter character. And further,
how many lessons will Mr. Fehr have to give?
Your paragraph with regard to employment of more
help ror the kitchen is not quite clear to me. You
know that kitehen help must be paid out of the Comis-
sary Department and ca mnot be paid out of the Synodical
treasury.Salary vouchers need not
me for my O.K. only when there
list, which has to be O.K.'d.
the necessary explanation mustWH EP

Then the voucher with
be sent to me.With greetings, I remain,
Yours very truly,
