daughter's wedding in

Charla Hawkins of Richa-
rdson spent the weekend
recently with her family,
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Haw-
kins and Kraig.
Mrs. Betty Ullman of Pl-
ano was a weekend guest
in the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Don Paschal and fam-
ily.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mank-
in, Rhonda and John Pat-
rick Moran of Angleton
were here over the week-
end to visit Mrs. Lillie
Mankin and for the fun-
eral of T. P. Penney.
Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Hil-
liard spent a long week-
end in Corpus Christi
with Mr. and Mrs. Ricky
Hilliard and children.

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Smith
over the weekend were Mr.
and Mrs. Don Stephens of
Louisville, Kentucky and
Patti Smith of Beeville.
They attended the Chamber
of Commerce banquet to
see thier father receive
the Citizen of the Year
award.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Derden
and girls, Kaycee and
Neelee, of Bryan spent
the weekend with Mr. and
Mrs. Glynn Lancaster. Th-
ey attended the funeral
of Mrs. Willie Derden
in Corsicana. She was
Roy's grandmother.
Jewell Reed and Lyndle
Congleton were in Austin
on Thursday to see Dr.
Robert Rock for a follow-
up treatment on an eye
implant which Jewell re-
ceived last September.

factors involved. The

Professional counseling,

will be stressed.
Back on the schedule
for the spring semester
is a night section of
American Minorities, So-
ciology 2043, taught by
Dr. William Alexander.

class will consider the
principal minority gro-
ups in American society
and their sociological
significance, problems
of intergroup relations,
social movements and re-
lated social changes oc-
