Dancing to the music of Bobby
Hammock’s Orchestra, thirty-three
members of the Girls’ Barb As-
sociation and their dates attended
the annual spring Barb formal in
the Crystal Ballroom of the Dris-
kill Hotel in Austin Saturday night,
March 9, from nine to twelve.
Guests included Mrs. Ruth Fer-
guson, Mrs. Margaret McKennon,
Mrs. Sarah Wright, Miss Mary Wil-
cox, Miss Esther Messick, and Mr.
and Mrs. Burgin Dunn.
The girls and their dates attend-
ing the formal were: Ruth Bran-
nies, Bunny Cooke; Tommye Hous-
ton, Billy Payne; Helen Bracey,
Guy Brantley; Jo Welch, Bob Hicks;
Gladys Schnurr, Clem Crowley;

For Next Year
After an election of officers on
March 11, Alpha Delta Pi held an
installation last Monday night ■%’.
The following officers were in- Wolcott
Chickens, goats, donkeys, and
other domesticated beasts will come
into their own at eight o’clock Sat-
urday night when the Tri Delts
give their bam dance in the high
school gym.
The affair is to be a lively one
with square dances, Paul Joneses,
, contests, and prizes.
Mrs. Ruth Ferguson will chap-
erone the affair, and the faculty
representatives will be Miss Mary
Wilcox and Dr. and Mrs. Gordon
Mickey Stone, Ed Levitt Ted
Fehr, Bobby Barton, Oscar Beaver,
Harry Johnston.
