Woodrow Wyatt
Has Position In
Chemistry Dept.
The appointment of Woodrow
Wyatt, of Georgetown, to an instruc-
torship in chemistry in Southwes-
tern University has been announced
by Professor J, C. Godbev, head of
tho department. Mr. Wyatt suc-
ceeds Mr. Sherman Lesesne, who re-
signed to go to the University of
Texas where he will teach and con-
tinue work on his doctorate.
Wyatt received the Bachelor of
Science degree at Southwestern Uni-
versity in June, making the highest
grades in his class with an average
of 95.53 per cent. The fact that he
completed the requirements for his
bachelor’s degree in three years
while also serving as a tutor in
chemistry, is an indication of his
outstanding ability.
Sam Cobb, Kappa Alpha from
Jacksonville, was a campus visitor
last week-end.
Melvin Price, Kappa Sigma from
Freeport, vnaied his family here and
on tho campus last week-end.
