The purpose of the meeting is<
to stimulate interest in the com-
pletion of unsurfaced gaps be-
tween Seymour and Lubbock.

Eligibility:—Any school in the
League with four teachers or less
may enter one contestant, in each
grade from the First to the Sev-
enth inclusive provided the con-
testant meets the othei eligibility
requirement's of the League. The
contestant may be a boy or a girl.
Classifcation:—Contestants in
each grade will compete rith con-
testants in his grade: as first,
grade contestants will compete
with first grade contestants and
sith grade contestants will com-
which are short enough to be read
in about tho minutes. Stories for
the fifth, siuth, and seventh
grades are to be short enough to
be read in about four minutes.
Readers:—Enough good read-
ers are to be Selected by the Di-
rector in charge so that the con-
test. may be carried on without
any great interruptions. The
same story is to he read to each
contestant of any one grade and
one at a time. After the contest-
ant has heard the story i*fead to
him in an adjoining room, he is
to go immediately to the sta
and give the story to the auc
ence.
Judges:—There are to be three
judges. The judges are to be
good primary teachers who* arc
from schools not in this division
and who would have no more in-
terest in one teacher or. contest-
ant represented than another.
The judges shall be selected by
'the Director with the help of the
committee.
Instructions to Judves:—ThY
contest shall be judged on the ba-
sis ot story content, coherence,
and delivery.
Points:—Points won in this
contest shall count towards Ru-
ral Sclioql County Championship.
