France' performance puts a qolerus on the be-
lief that b would not have won the Hunny
South but Cor the fact that he shot them sixteen

event In January the shoot-off lay between Pop
Helke aod P. L. Parson handicapped at

ticularly attractive as an athletic feature to
a large number of boys events have been -arranged
for three separate classes of boys. The
smallest boys will be entered in a (roup la
which only boys under 4 feet 10 Inches srs
eligible. In this class th following event
will be conducted: Fifty-yard dash standing
broad Jump and 100-yard dash. The ' next
groupWill tx boys under 6 feet 6 Inches with
the following events to be conducted for them:
75-yard daah 100-yard dash 220-yard dash
running high lump running broad jump. The
largest boys will be used In tbe contests that
are open only to such boy who are over 6
feet 6 Inches In height. In this class tbe
event will be tbe 100-yard dash 220-yard
daab. 440-yard dash running high jnmp. 12-
pound shot put and running broad jump. Every
contest of the entire program will be a handi-
cap affair making It possible for each hoy to
have an equal chance with every other boy
in tbe various events. Beautiful ribbon will
be (warded to the boys who finish flrat second
and third in each event. Entrlea will close to-
night It 1 eapected that a large number of
boy a will participate.
