During the quiet season of the year our Semi-Annual
Sale of Trousers is helping to give us a busy month.
While there has been no decrease in the sale of our suits
during this time still there are any number of buyers
who have coats and vests sufficiently good to last
through the season and are completing their suits by
taking advantage of these great bargains in trousers. We never
carry goods over and in order to dispose of the stock we are cutting
prices to a quick moving basis.
Our $7.00 and $8.00 Paragon Trousers now $4.95
Our $5.00 and $6.00 Paragon Trousers now $3.95
Our $400 Paragon Trousers now $2.45

mattera ahould hava been aubmltted at
a called meetlnc for that purpose and
the cltlaana' committee preaent as on tha
rinal action that was whan the proper
care should hare been taken. If
this haaty action had not been taken
my Intention was to propose to the oourt
the employment of a competent architect
to asalat the c Ittaena' committee and com-
missioners court tn cnecMns up toe fin-
ished plans with the original a4oped and
see that they conformed In all respects.
As It stands now. It was a practloa Im-
possibility for the court In a couple of
hours to satisfy themselves as to the
completeness of these draw tecs and speci-
fications and advertise for bids simulta-
neously. There are forty-elcM sheet of drawing-!
ranging from five feet long and
about five feet wide and I hav Informed
myaelf through well known architects
that for a building of such magnitude
to cost IMO.OOu. It would take at least
two weeks to check up the plans with
spectflcattona to thoroughly determine
whether the building la safeguarded In
every detail tn determine as to the thlok-
ness of the foundation walls floors roof-
ing and steel work heating plumbing
ventilation etc.. see If dome Is properly
braced to resist wind pressure and vibra-
tions etc. All these matter were naoea-
aary to be thoroughly looked Into.
Honest mistakes might hav erapt In
anlntentlonelly br the architects and as
a protection to the oourt and tha arahT-
ects these plans and specification should
hav been thoroughly checked over In
order to avoid any discrepancies and un-
pleaaantnes In the future.
I leave th Judgment of jii Dosltasn to
