an equal 'number of games so they played
a game to decide who should be the win-
ner. Mrs Westmoreland proved to be the
victor and was presented with a dainty
piece of Mexican drawn work. Sliced
watermelon and delirious punch were
aerved.

Thursday evening Miss Irma Moore en-
tertained In honor of her sixteenth hlrth-
day. Sho let her birthday he. a surprise
to the fiiestB however. This was one of
the most Interesting unique and alto-
gether en joy a hie affairs of the season.

where Mrs. Moore's homelike welcome
greeted all. They linedlately began sew-
ing gossiping and having "the good
time" when their sanctuary waa sudden-
ly Invaded by the sterner sex who worj
fortunate enough to secure Invitations.
From the shouts of merriment that could
soon be heard the Intrusion was not re-
sented In the least. Slips of paper were
Sat sen to all commanding the holders 10
o various and ludicrous things such as
blowing soap bubbles dressing In "Brid-
f;et" uniform etc. Numbers were passed
o girls and corresponding numbers to
boys and five minutes given to boys to
find partners and five minutes to girl.

All were then ushered to the beautifully
